Interaction design.

This mission for this course was to create something digitally that would benefit the society. My team and I brainstormed and tried to find a current problem we wanted to try and solve. The issue we decided was to try and create something to facilitate conversation starters at campus. Many students, especially in Sweden, have a hard time to open up and socialize to new people. We used personas, wire frame models and sketching to find different solutions to the problem. The final result is a break room game called “Bambastic”, the game is set up in common break rooms at campus and played through Ipads on tables and a projector. When you enter sit at a table you will see questions on the projector and use the Ipads to answer. We hope that the game will encourage people to talk and try and beat the other tables. If we shift the focus from the conversation to a game we can find common ground and start socialize easily.
